Overview
As a Social Media Marketing Intern at the New York Jobs CEO Council (NYJCC), I contributed to digital communications for a $100B+ coalition of Fortune 500 CEOs—including leaders from Amazon, Google, and IBM. My work focused on crafting high-impact social campaigns and analytics reports that helped the Council promote its mission to hire 100,000 under-resourced New Yorkers into in-demand careers. Through storytelling, data insights, and creative strategy, I helped strengthen the Council’s digital presence and expand its outreach to student and early-career audiences.
Strategic Content & Communications
I managed a fast-paced content approval workflow between the Council’s Executive Committee and the Communications Director, ensuring that all public messaging was brand-aligned and executive-ready. From developing toolkits and short-form videos to coordinating C-Suite-level reviews, I gained hands-on experience navigating professional communication pipelines.
Additionally, I created social strategies tailored to young professionals, amplifying stories that highlighted career access, mentorship, and skill-building initiatives across NYJCC member companies. These campaigns not only improved audience engagement but also reinforced the Council’s commitment to workforce equity and opportunity.
Data-Driven Impact
Each month, I produced detailed digital efficacy reports measuring engagement and growth across LinkedIn and Instagram. By analyzing content performance trends, I identified opportunities for optimization and informed strategy updates that guided executive decisions. I also curated and promoted job pipelines by aggregating early-career opportunities from member companies such as Google and Amazon—helping students and graduates directly connect with employers shaping New York’s economic future.
This internship deepened my understanding of analytics-driven storytelling and its power to translate data into social impact.
