Overview
As a Marketing and App Development Intern at Jammy Chat, I worked at the intersection of design, technology, and community engagement to support the beta launch of a Gen Z–focused communication app. Jammy’s mission is to make messaging more authentic and expressive, blending creativity with social connection. My role involved developing front-end app features, improving user experience, and leading targeted marketing initiatives to drive early adoption.
App Development & UX/UI Optimization
I collaborated directly with the co-founder and development team to refine app features and user flows, ensuring a smooth, intuitive experience across web and mobile platforms. Using user feedback from beta testing, I iterated on design elements to enhance functionality and engagement—contributing to a 20% increase in feature adoption.
Additionally, I assisted in website enhancement and mobile UI development, ensuring consistent branding and accessibility across all digital touchpoints. My ability to combine visual design thinking with front-end coding positioned me as one of the top 10 interns recognized for measurable impact and initiative during the program.
Launch Strategy & Digital Marketing
On the marketing side, I led digital campaigns designed to build excitement around Jammy’s beta release. Through Gen Z–driven social strategies, I helped achieve a 67% user acquisition rate within the first 48 hours of launch. My contributions included crafting campaign copy, designing promotional assets, and coordinating digital outreach that emphasized Jammy’s mission of creative connection.
This experience strengthened my understanding of how product design and marketing converge—teaching me how to align user experience, storytelling, and brand identity to create meaningful engagement.
